The Meet and Greet

with a whole lot of history thrown in

First, we’ll have a traditional meet and greet. We’re all about building families, so it makes sense that our family-oriented approach requires establishing a firm foundation, based on trust and clear communication.

That communication will start right off with the normal pleasantries, after which we’ll get started taking all of the important details pertaining to your personal and family medical histories. It’s critical to leave no stone unturned here; sometimes the most relevant information related to an infertility diagnosis can be inferred between the lines.

You can facilitate this step in the process by bringing all of the documentation we’ve requested, including:

  • Copies of your medical records (from general physician and OB/GYN)
  • Lists of current medications, supplements, vitamins, etc.
  • Copies of previous fertility evaluations/treatments
  • Lists of your own questions/concerns for the doctor
  • Pad/pen to jot down notes of your own

Fertility Testing

full spectrum fertility testing

We offer the full-spectrum of fertility testing, but we only recommend or schedule tests we feel are necessary. Thus, at this first appointment, we’ll perform the basic rounds of fertility tests:

  • Blood/urine analysis
  • Follicle growth series (needs to be scheduled after the first few days of your period)
  • Hormone analysis
  • Semen analysis
  • Pelvic exam
  • Transvaginal ultrasound
  • Ovarian reserve testing (based on age and/or prior diagnosis)

Based on a previous diagnosis, medical/reproductive history and/or your results from the first round of tests, we may proceed or schedule more tests, including things like:

  • Genetic tests
  • Post coital test
  • Hysterosalpingogram
  • Endometrial biopsy
  • Sonohysterogram
  • Immunological tests

Post-testing Consultation

lets check in

Afterwards, the doctor will check back in with you to see how you’re doing, and discuss any immediate observations or diagnosis illuminated immediately. Results based on biopsies and/or the lab’s readings are immediately uploaded into our web portal for your immediate review, but will be explained in person via phone or at your next consult.

Based on our official findings related to your infertility factor(s), we’ll go over the best fertility treatments for you, customizing them to provide the highest success rates in the shortest amount of time. We may also recommend additional treatment options that can further increase your treatment success rates, such as PGS and PGD screening, endometrial coculture, ICSI, etc.
